Today’s song & dance activity is called “Springtime Dance” from Jack Hartmann’s Kids’ Music YouTube channel. You can follow along with the dance moves in the video!
Today’s Craft
Today’s craft is paper plate flowers!
Supplies
To make this activity, you will need:
- Paper Plate (*)
- Green Paper (*)
- Popsicle Stick (*)
- Scissors
- Markers or Paint
- Glue
Items marked with a (*) are included in the make-and-take kits.
Directions
- Cut small triangles out of the outer ring of your paper plate to form the flower petals.
- Paint or color your popsicle stick green and put it aside to dry.
- Color or paint your paper plate to make it look like a flower. Set it aside to dry.
- Cut two leaf shapes from the green paper. If you picked up a make-and-take kit from the library this step has already been completed for you.
- Glue the popsicle stick to the back of your paper plate.
- Glue the leaves to the back of the popsicle stick.
