Today’s Craft
Today’s craft is a Paper Bag Monsters!
Supplies
To make this activity, you will need:
- Paper Bag (*)
- Markers/Paint
- Construction Paper (*)
- Glue
If you picked up a make-and-take craft from the library, all supplies with an * are included.
Directions
- Color or paint your paper bag any color you choose. You can do just one side (the side where the bottom flap is) or you can do both sides.
- Cut stripes for your monster’s stomach out of construction paper. If you picked up a make-and-take kit from the library this step has already been completed for you.
- Cut circles for an eye or multiple eyes out of construction paper. If you picked up a make-and-take kit from the library this step has already been completed for you.
- Cut fangs for your monster out of construction paper. If you picked up a make-and-take kit from the library this step has already been completed for you.
- Cut a tongue for your monster out of construction paper. If you picked up a make-and-take kit from the library this step has already been completed for you.
- Cut horns for your monster out of construction paper. If you picked up a make-and-take kit from the library this step has already been completed for you.
- Glue the stripes to the bag anywhere below the flap at the top.
- Glue the tongue and fangs under the flap to make the monster’s mouth.
- Glue the horns to the back side of the top of the bag.
- Glue the eye or eyes to the front part of the flap.
- Use a marker to put the finishing touches on your monster.
